Method Description:

This method directly determines the amounts of maltotriose, maltotetraose, maltopentaose, maltohexanose, and maltoheptanose in food products and ingredients. The sugars are extracted and after the appropriate dilution are quantitated using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).

This methodology is specific and all calculations are based on the response factors of known standards.
