Method Description:

The sample is enzymatically digested using a-amylase and amyloglucosidase under controlled temperature, pressure and pH conditions and the resulting glucose is measured spectrophotometrically. Samples containing glucose are de-sugared prior to analysis using hot 80% ethanol.
